"The One Where It Rained" | Alex & Eric

No umbrellas needed…

First of all, if you understood the Friends reference then let’s actually be friends (no pun intended). If not, get on that series! It is amazing. I got to thinking and only a title that was inspired from an amazing show like Friends would be fitting enough for an introduction to this couples session.

Thinking back, it really wasn’t planned to do an all black and white gallery but just as I started to edit I remember thinking “These photos hit so much different in black and white.” Alex and Eric are long time friends and I can HONESTLY say I have never met two people more in love than these guys. They are so perfect for each other and being around them I swear makes me think that soulmates are a real thing. At one point during the session I actually said “UGH I hate your love” because looking at the two of them together makes you feel SO many emotions that it just is sickeningly wonderful in every way possible. But if they are reading this, I was totally kidding - I LOVE YOUR LOVE lol.

Despite the mosquitos and feeling rushed by trying to avoid a rainstorm, this session was amazing. We got some sunshine, and when the rain eventually came i think we all realized that it would make for some amazing moments. I feel like it’s a good reminder that we don’t always have to avoid the scary/ominous things on our horizon. If we embrace them and “dance in the rain” - magic happens. (so cheesy, but true).

Thank you Alex & Eric for sharing your love with me and reminding me to never settle for anything less than a soulmate. So lucky to know you both and call you friends.
